9/7/2023 0 Comments Lightburn camera drivers![]() I tried to make this as simple as possible - it's one screw to attach to the frame. Once mounted up, there should be no movement unless you're getting gorilla with it. The mount frame pieces are aluminum, and mount brackets are a 3D printed design I created myself. ![]() The camera is a 5MP wide angle, which plugs into your computer's USB port. All you need is a set of metric allen wrenches to install, everything else is provided in the kit. ![]() The kit bolts onto the D1 frame without need for drilling holes or removing screws from the D1. (Sorry Laserbox Basic users, there is no integrated camera option for that software currently) For an idea of what it can do, please see the demo I did using the kit:īrackets Only: The 3D printed bracket set for mounting something to the rear frame of the D1 ![]() Though it can be used just for monitoring the D1 doing its business, the real goodness comes from using it with Lightburn. This is a handy dandy camera kit specific to the xTool D1 series laser engraver. *Note* This kit is not for D1 machines with Y axis extensions. ![]()
